2007 Benelli Tre-K 1130 full test!
Tre-K 1130 handles really well and feels nimble despite the claimed 205kg dry weight. The chassis is the same tubular work of art as on the TNT. The swingarm in particular deserves some admiration. The German Benelli importer sold 1000 TNT’s in 2005. More than anywhere else in the world, but then he said, and I quote; “I also got a 1000 problems out of it”. The engine delivers a lot of torque and if I had felt it would be a problem I could always push the power button. Read more here. TS2008 Buell 1125R from Laguna Seca next...
Benelli showed the same bikes as at the Cologne show, parallel twin Due 756, 449 enduro BX Cross and the Tre-K 1130 Amazonas. New was the prepared Tre-K Amazonas that the Brazilian importer will use on a 9.000 mile epic journey in the Amazon delta in South America. We spotted another TNT, the Officine, with special finishing.

2007 Benelli Tre-K 1130 Amazonas
Benelli launched a host of new models in Intermot. One of them was the new Tre-K 1130 Amazonas. Yellow as a python from the rainforest and with some serious rubber for offroad use. Benelli's Brazilian importer will take one through the Amazonas on a 9.000 mile journey. Another one for your motorcycle diaries this...
756cc parallel twin based on the 1130 triple. One cylinder has been sliced off and voila you've got yourself a parallel twin. Parallel twins will be very popular in the future it looks like.

2007 Benelli scooter addition
Benelli have got two dream concepts that probably will stay a dream. If Benelli were to really go for it in America they will produce a V6 powered cruiser, Triumph Rocket III style. The V6 will consist of two triples welded together. The capacity would then be more than 2200cc. The other dream concept comes from the wish of the Chinese owners to be in the MotoGP paddock. If Benelli can organise that I would be very impressed. But not this year and not next year and probably not the year after that either.
