Triumph has revealed the slightly updated 2012 version of its highly successful Daytona 675 model. It stays true to the typical European evolution rather than revolution trademark but we know something properly new is on the way for 2013. 2012 hence belongs to the MV Agusta F3 with its reported 140hp new 675cc triple. Could it be that MV Agusta's first F3 order comes from a Triumph middle man? They'd be stupid not to buy one. Triumph's most successful design now get Pirelli Supercorsa SP tyres as standard which perhaps is the most important update. The 2012 gets new clutch and generator covers with the Triumph logo and then you've got the new colours. The price remains at £8,499 OTR. This price undercuts the rumoured £10,499 priced MV Agusta F3 but the £7,800 Brutale 675 will be the main Triumph killer in 2012. Read about the Daytona 675 R here.
