Royal Enfield Royal Enfield is not so English anymore, but the new Bullet Electra Sportsman is made for the UK market. Enfield are now based in India. 
Ducati Ducati chose Birmingham to launch the new ST3 S ABS and a Xerox copy of the 999R. What happens to Ducati is in the open at the moment and much of its immediate faith will be decided by how many Sport Classics Ducati can sell. Ducati was the only manufacturer with something for the ladies too in a male model on the 749R. Also see Loris Capirossi's Desmosedici MotoGP racer and the new Monster 1000DS S2R. 
BMW BMW premiered the new R1200GS Adventure in Birmingham as a thank you to the UK public for buying all the R1200GS the Germans can produce. Also shown is the HP2 with custom made luggage from BMW Motorrad.

Suzuki DL1000 V-Strom with luggage option. Suzuki also launched their first ever R quad to compete with Yamaha Raptor. Quad Racer R450. Suzuki's new power cruiser Intruder M1800R also had its European debut in Birmingham.

Honda We are not sure whether Honda is suffering from overcapacity since it probably could have launched a second factory HRC MotoGP team with the money and development cost for the Asimo robot. It is very clever, but you won't see it here. Check out the new white paint on the FMX instead. 
KTM This Dakar racer belonged to Fabrizio Meoni that sadly lost his life during this years race. 
Stars at the show Suzuki used the opportunity to announce they have taken WSB runner up Chris Vermeulen aboard their MotoGP team. Vermeulen has ridden the last two rounds in MotoGP on a Camel Honda. Honda could not guarantee a RCV ride for the young Australian so he jumped ship to Suzuki that now has got two of the most promising riders in the MotoGP paddock. Vermeulen replaces 2000 world champ Kenny Roberts jr and joins John Hopkins. 
Shinya Nakano rides Kawasaki ZX RR in MotoGP and is a very good ambassador for Kawasaki. Nakano is Japanese, but he speaks English, rides very fast and is one of the most approachable MotoGP riders in the paddock. Nakano thinks the ZZR1400 is just as fast as his 990 cc MotoGP prototype. 
The Suzuki stand honoured now retired BSB racer John Reynolds.

Charley Boorman Charley will ride Dakar 2006 on a BMW 650 Dakar with the same film crew and producer as The long way around.

Custom exhibition Arlen Ness bikes Mach Ness video Chevy Bike Arlen Ness created Chevy Bike as a tribute to the iconic '57 Chevrolet. Nice tail fins. 
Two Bad Designed by Arlen Ness based on 1970's custom trends where Harley choppers were decorated with gold plated parts and highly engraved. 
Smoothness Smoothness is Arlen Ness's build and captures the sweeping lines and sheer elegance of the art deco era. Inspired by 1930's Bugatti Atlantic. 
Curvaciousness This is a Cory Ness build from 1999 featuring hand finished, all aluminium body work, S & S V-twin and Ness custom exhaust. 
Zeel Design Phenom Canadian Zeel design built this bike. Notice the lack of a conventional side stand. The Phenom won Best of show at Rat's Hole 2005 in Daytona and the Canadian biker build-off 2005 in Niagara Falls.
